What is the first thing humans think about when they hear the word robots? They probably think about the leading technology that everyone has had the use of for an extended time now. Human research has advanced in technology for years and now they have evolved by inventing robots. Robots are advanced pieces of technology, that can be used to execute many tasks. Nevertheless, there are numerous kinds of robots, all for different purposes. Robots that can adapt to situations without human supervision are Autonomous robots. These robots can be used for many reasons. Clearly, they are used in households, for cleaning, and military, taking place of humans in action. Another type of robot is Teleoperated robots. These robots are remotely controlled by humans. They are also used in the military, but mostly in the medical faction. Teleoperated robots can be used by humans, even if they are being controlled far away. “It’s the same as if I was sitting in the operating room, I have both my hands on the robot the same way I would have instruments in both hands.” and”Basically, it’s the same as if I were next to the patient, just using telecommunication and robotics. It doesn’t feel different” – (Dr. Mehran Anvari) (BBC, May 16, 2014). Dr. Anvari had done an operation on a patient using robots despite being 400 kilometres away! He did not have to travel from so far to just treat a patient. With technology, humans can spare time and money, which is a benefit to everyone. Another type of robot that most people know of is capable of handling tasks and used in manufacturing, these robots are called Pre-Programmed robots. They are suited to work in manufacturing industries with an advantage, better than people. Remarkably, robots have given the human race an advantage of working. Evidently, there are many types of robots in this society. They are all made for a purpose to help people. This is why robots should manufacture in industries instead of humans.What are Pre-Programmed robots? Well, Pre-Programmed robots are used exceedingly in manufacturing industries to accomplish a job with “steps” that have been programmed into them to comply with. Once these specialized robots have been programmed, they can go on forever and work, non-stop. They do not require any supervision, and with exact precision, they are very efficient and can get the job done superior to human work. The way these robots are programmed, they can carry out pretty much any task. In the manufacturing industries, Pre-Programmed robots can constantly work without needing to rest or take a break and still operate at a consistently advanced level. Furthermore, these robots increase the productivity of manufacturing, which leads to diminishing the price of goods being made because of the increase of amounts being made at a time. Humans may think that these robots do not obtain crucial jobs in these big industries because humans would want other humans to supply goods, as they think that is the most reliable method to transport and establish them. However, robots have as much capability of working as humans. They actually possess an advantage since they are not living and possess limitless capabilities to work. Humans know they will make mistakes eventually, but with robots, the chances to make errors are low! Humans just have to program them, and they have nothing else to worry about. Instead of training other people to manufacture goods and supplies, Pre-Programmed robots work for humans with no problems at all. They have increased dramatically in factories around the world. International Federation of Robotics says that “By 2018, around 1.3 million industrial robots will be entering service in factories around the world.” (International Federation of Robotics, 2017). This shows that people know that robots are capable of working in industries to manufacture. They want to more robots to increase the productivity of goods. These robots obtain essential jobs in manufacturing industries, they were made to handle tasks that humans cannot do, so why don’t we authorize them? For these reasons, automation employing robots in the manufacturing industry has made an evident beneficial impact on the success of this industry.In truth, robots are extremely capable of working in the manufacturing faction. But that is not all, they also are promoting the safety of workers. If there is a hazardous task that humans would have to risk their lives to execute, robots can handle the job without feeling any pain or getting tired. It is harsh for workers to work when they are weary. They could mess up the task at hand, and anything could happen. Nevertheless, robots can endure anything and can’t get tired, so when working, they would not slack off. This increases the accuracy of the items being assembled or manufactured. Humans do not possess unlimited energy, over time, generating the amount of required focus wears down the worker and their capabilities drastically. Humans should not be working on things that can be extremely dangerous because if they are unable to focus and obtain the exact measurements, there could be permanent harm to their body. A job that robots handle which is dangerous for people is welding. If precautions are not taken seriously, welding can cause explosions, fires, electrical shocks, and many other disasters that can impact the lives of human workers negatively. Human lives can be saved because robots can accomplish risky jobs that can bring potential harm to the life of a worker. Manufacturing jobs can be very dangerous and people should discard it and let robots do the work. It isn’t essential for humans to try and complete work which can kill them. They are living and should not have to work on dangerous tasks. According to all of this reasoning, it is evident that humans should leave manufacturing work to robots, as they can accomplish this work and not risk the lives of a living worker.Affirmatively, Pre-Programmed robots are very safe, but they are also extremely efficient. Robots are very fast and precise at working on the task(s) that they were programmed to do because they keep repeating the same actions over and over again. With productivity increasing, the speed at which goods are produced increases too, as mentioned before. Since robots repeat the same movements, the accuracy is the exact same each time the action is being accomplished. These robots are not programmed to decide whether they want to drill a hole here or carve a section there, they have to stick with their job. Undoubtedly, Pre-Programmed robots are more than efficient enough to work in manufacturing industries, but that is not all. Robots cannot take sick days! In-depth, humans have to require days off if they are ill or have family problems. However, robots, sadly, do not have families and cannot get sick. Even if an employee never gets sick, (which is impossible) they still must attend work for 8 hours per day. They will eventually get drained out and would start slacking off, will want to take breaks and rest or even want to go home. This takes away time from products being made, which is not good for business. Robots are unable to get tired and can work for a very extensive time without rest. They can even work 24/7 if manufacturing industries wanted to keep making products overnight. “Nike’s Chief Operating Officer Eric Sprunk said in an email that Grabit ‘strategically fits with Nike’s drive to accelerate advanced manufacturing’.” (Footwear News, August 31, 2017). In other words, robots help bring manufacturing companies to the top of ‘the chart’. Additionally, “In the past month, Grabit began providing facilities that make Nikes with a handful of upper-assembling machines that work 20 times faster than human workers.” (Footwear News, August 31, 2017). This shows that robots increase the work 20 times faster compared to human labour. This goes to show people that robots have increased the productivity by 20 times faster than usual. As expressed, robots not only secure the safety of humans but in addition, they also are very efficient, to work in manufacturing industries, compared to humans. In conclusion, Pre-Programmed Robots have brought many benefits to humanity. They secure the safety of all humans. They can handle all tasks that humans cannot. But that is just one piece, they are also very efficient. They are extremely precise in measurements and repeat the same thing over again, the same way. It is essential for robots to work in manufacturing industries because they were designed to help humans. We should grant them to help people, so we don’t risk our lives just to manufacture goods. In addition, robots have saved humans a lot of time and money. The manufacturing industries should be completing automated with robots, as a result of them being more proficient to complete jobs like those in the industries. In conclusion, robots improve the safety of workers, and their efficiency is tremendous while working. This is why I conclude, that Pre-Programmed Robots are more beneficial to work in manufacturing industries, compared to humans.
